Originally from Northern Michigan, she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Chemistry from Lake Superior State University and her Master’s in Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her studies have included limnology, environmental systems, chemical hydrogeology, GIS mapping, and all things chemistry. She has also worked for multiple non-profit environmental conservation organizations. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, reading, SCUBA, and anything involving the great outdoors.
